Eat Well, Do Good Month: October 2025

Empty white square with a black border.

The Eat Well, Do Good is back for 2025 - and this time it will run throughout the whole of October!

We are looking for the best of the hospitality community in Manchester to get involved.

Last year 32 venues, chefs and hospitality heroes joined in to offer extraordinary dishes, pop-up food experiences, cocktails and other fundraising activities, all raising money that fund meals for people in need.

We raised over £8,600, funding around 4,300 meals for homeless families, parents of poorly children, people using food banks, kids taking home meals from school on the weekend and other people facing desperate times.

This year, we’re aiming even higher—and we’d love you to be part of it.

Eat Well MCR delivers around 2,500 meals a month, made by Manchester's hospitality community, paid for by the generous support of the people of Manchester.

2025 Plans

We’ll kick off the month with a brilliant launch event (details coming soon!) and wrap things up with a free thank you party for our hospitality heroes and supporters that have taken part.

Ways venues can get involved:

Throughout the month of October we're asking venues across Greater Manchester to take part and support us with fundraising activities, such as:

  • Add a special dish or drink to your menu with a donation included

  • Add an optional £1 to the bill

  • Host a team fundraising activity

  • Put on a ticketed event or pop-up at your venue

Every penny raised goes directly to funding chef-made meals for people facing tough times. Just £2 funds one meal.

Just £2 pays for a meal for someone in need! How many meals could your venue fund?
