Eat Well MCR at Cafe 93

A welcoming space for the Harpuhey community.

Café 93 at No. 93 Wellbeing Centre

Eat Well MCR is delighted to be operating Café 93 at the No.93 Wellbeing Centre in Harpurhey as part of a project funded by Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH).

While it’s run by Eat Well MCR, the café is set up as separate initiative, and funded through the NHS—not through donations made to our charity.

This new venture builds on our mission to make good food accessible to those who need it most, offering nourishing, affordable food to the local community in Harpurhey.

More than a café

Café 93 is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am–3:00pm, serving hearty, chef-made breakfasts and lunches at low prices. There’s always a warm drink on offer, a friendly face behind the counter, and a sense of community at the heart of everything we do.

But this isn’t just a place to grab a bite to eat.

The café is a vital part of the wellbeing centre—offering a space to pause, connect and belong. We know how important it is to feel seen and cared for, and we believe that sharing food is one of the most powerful ways to nurture those feelings.

How it connects to Eat Well MCR

Running Café 93 is part of our commitment to exploring new, meaningful ways to deliver our mission: providing access to nourishing food for people experiencing hardship across Greater Manchester.

While most of our work happens behind the scenes—delivering chef-made meals to people in temporary accommodation, schools, refuges and community groups—Café 93 gives us a chance to work at the heart of a local community, creating connections and bringing people together through the joy of sharing food.
